Who Am I?

My name is Jeferson Santos. I have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, and for the past 6 years, I've dedicated myself to learning through hands-on experience everything that schools don't teach about money.

I started investing with R$100. I had no guidance, no expensive courses, and no inheritance. I had curiosity and a simple question that I couldn’t get out of my head: Why do some people build wealth while the majority work their whole lives and get nowhere?

That question led me to delve into personal finance, investment analysis, and financial behavior. Today, with a diversified portfolio of stocks, real estate funds, and fixed-income securities, I’ve seen my net worth grow by more than 80%—and most importantly, I’ve achieved the financial freedom I’ve always sought.

Why I Created This Website

When I first started investing, I wasted a lot of time on superficial content—full of promises but lacking practical guidance. I wanted to understand how compound interest works, the real difference between CDBs and Tesouro Direto, and how to analyze a real estate fund before investing in it.

My background in IT taught me to think analytically, to understand data, and to simplify complex issues. I applied that same logic to finance—and realized that most concepts that seem difficult become simple when explained the right way.

I created the Learning about Finance It's the kind of resource I wish I had found back then: to the point, based on real-life experience, without unnecessary jargon, and without unrealistic promises of getting rich quick.
